Christwood in Covington had very large grounds with lots of plantings. They had a lot of several different buildings with a wide variety of designs on the units. They even had some independent three-bedroom homes, like a single family home. They had very large grounds to go bike riding, or hiking, and gardening. They had rooms in buildings similar to condos where you have people close to each other. The nursing facility is excellent, with lots of equipment and staff.

Quality Measures Christwood
My father is going to go to Christwood in two weeks. It's like going to a country club, which I think is their main attraction. He likes to exercise and what really sold him was they have an Olympic sized saltwater swimming pool for their use. The staff is excellent, and we've been very impressed.
They have a swimming pool, an exercise room, and a beauty parlor. The Christwood at Covington was a very beautiful but outrageously expensive place. They had the regular type facilities and apartment building and they had individualized garden homes.

I met the staff supervisor and the food supervisor, and they're all very capable, and very motivated. I have a friend who stays there and seems to be very happy with it. I met more of the other residents there and they were all seemingly very friendly, well educated, and personable.
